Flongle Adapter

Flongle adapter is an add-on device for MinION or GridION that allows direct sequencing of DNA or RNA in real time, using smaller, single-use flow cells. Delivers up to 2.8 Gb of data. Providing immediate access to sequence data, Flongle is designed to be the fastest, most accessible and cost-effective sequencing system for smaller or more frequently performed tests or experiments. Flongle flow cells should be used within four weeks of receipt.

 
 

MinION GridION Flow Cell R10.4.1 version

The MinION flow cell (R10.4.1) is a consumable used with MinION and GridION devices. It contains the patented sensor array, application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and R10 nanopores. The R10 nanopore series contains a dual read head and is suitable for experiments where high consensus precision is required. Paired with Chemistry Kit 14, R10.4.1 generates data with greater than 99% modal accuracy.

This version is compatible with recently released V14 kits, including the V14 Ligation Sequencing Kit, V14 Rapid Sequencing Kit, and barcoding.

 
 

MinION or GridION Flow Cell RNA

A MinION/GridION RNA flow cell is a consumable used with MinION and GridION devices. It contains the proprietary sensor array, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), and nanopores. This is our RNA-specific flow cell, and together with the Direct RNA Sequencing Kit (SQK-RNA004), it generates improved sequencing accuracy and output for RNA libraries.

This version is currently only compatible with our Direct RNA Sequencing Kit (SQK-RNA004).

This is our RNA-specific flow cell and together with the Direct RNA Sequencing Kit (SQK-RNA004), it results in improved sequencing accuracy and throughput for RNA libraries.

This version is currently only compatible with the Direct RNA Sequencing Kit (SQK-RNA004).
 
 

Flongle Flow Cell R10.4.1 Version

A Flongle flow cell (R10.4.1) is a consumable used with the Flongle adapter and MinION and GridION devices. Contains the patented sensor array and R10.4.1 nanopores suitable for all V14 kits using Kit 14 chemistry.

This version is compatible with recently released V14 kits, including the V14 Ligation Sequencing Kit, V14 Rapid Sequencing Kit, and barcoding.
 

Control Expansion Kit

This kit contains six vials of Lambda DNA to perform a Lambda control experiment. Lambda DNA is 48 kb in length and serves as a good model system to evaluate the nanopore sequencing workflow. Control experiments should be carried out when users are getting started with an Oxford Nanopore device, or when troubleshooting library preparation.

 

PCR barcode Expansion 1-12

The PCR Barcoding Expansion 1-12 is designed to enable pooling and co-operation of multiple sequencing libraries on Oxford Nanopore sequencing devices. The kit includes adapters and primers for Fw and RV PCR. There are 12 unique barcodes and enough adapters to make 6 libraries per barcode. The barcodes have been carefully designed and extensively purified to minimize the possibility of crossover.

There are currently two protocols for this kit, which are provided as examples of how Barcoding Expansion 1-12 PCR could be applied for genomic and amplicon libraries. Please note that if you are encoding cDNA or amplicons, these have to be prepared beforehand. These protocols are open to adaptation and optimization for specific experimental requirements. Please note that to use this kit, you will need to purchase additional reagents from a third party.
 

PCR Barcoding Expansion 96

The PCR Barcoding Expansion 1-96 (EXP-PBC096) is designed to allow pooling and working together of multiple sequencing libraries. The kit includes RV and FW PCR adapters and primers with the same barcode on both primers. The kit contains 96 unique barcodes. There are 96 unique barcodes and enough of the adapters needed to make 10 libraries per barcode. The barcodes have been carefully designed and extensively purified to minimize the possibility of interference.

There are currently two protocols for this kit that are provided as examples of how Barcoding Expansion 1-96 PCR could be applied for genomic and amplicon libraries. Native Barcode Auxiliary V14

The Native Barcoding Auxiliary V14 Kit (EXP-NBA114) contains additional library preparation reagents for the Native Barcoding Kit 24 and 96 V14 (SQK-NBD114.24 and SQK-NBD114.96), and the Multiplex Ligation Sequencing Kit XL V14 ( SQK-MLK114.96-XL), for another 12 reactions. This way, users can use unused barcodes in their native barcode kits.

To use this kit, be sure to purchase the V14 Sequencing Auxiliary Vials (EXP-AUX003) to obtain the flow cell priming reagents.
 

PCR Expansion kit

This kit contains PCR primers and adapters and is compatible for use with ligation sequencing kits (SQK-LSK110 and SQK-LSK109).

 

Sequencing Auxiliary Vials

This kit is recommended for users who:

-Want to split a library into multiple flow cells.

-Need to add a new library to a washed flow cell.

-Want to populate a flow cell with an additional library.

 

Short Fragment Eliminator

This kit is recommended for users who:

-They want to select by size to progressively eliminate short fragments (<25 kb) from their sample.

-Want to enrich their libraries for long fragments without using external third-party reagents.

The Short Fragment Eliminator (EXP-SFE001) is a new expansion pack recommended for users who wish to size select high molecular weight (HMW) gDNA to eliminate short fragments (<25 kb) by size-selective precipitation. The kit contains the Short Fragment Eliminator (SFE) buffer that progressively removes fragments up to 25 kb, almost completely removing fragments smaller than 10 kb in a fast and easy workflow.

 

SFB Expansion Kit

The SFB Expansion kit contains additional Short Fragment Buffer (SFB) for use with sequencing experiments where short fragments are required or for use with the “PCR tiling of COVID-19 virus” protocol.

 

LFB Expansion

The LFB expansion kit contains additional long fragment buffer (LFB) for use with sequencing experiments where shorter fragments (<3 kb) must be removed.

 

Midnight RT PCR Expansion

This kit is recommended for users who:

-Want to sequence the complete genome of SARS-CoV-2

-Want to multiplex samples to reduce the price per sample

The Midnight RT PCR Expansion (EXP-MRT001) is designed to be used with the Rapid Barcoding Kit 96 (SQK-RBK110.96) or the Rapid Barcoding Kit 96 V14 (SQK-RBK114.96) and provides all reagents necessary for the Complete workflow for sequencing SARS-CoV-2 RNA samples.

 

RNA Control Expansion

The RNA Control Expansion contains RNA control samples for control testing of cDNA sequencing kits.

 

Rapid Adapter Auxiliary V14

The Rapid Adapter Auxiliary V14 expansion (EXP-RAA114) contains additional rapid adapter and adapter buffers for six additional reactions. This allows users to use any unused barcodes on their Rapid Barcoding Kits V14.

To use this kit, be sure to purchase the V14 Sequencing Auxiliary Vials (EXP-AUX003) to obtain the flow cell priming reagents.

The Rapid Adapter Auxiliary V14 (EXP-RAA114) can only be used with chemistry 14 kis. This kit is NOT compatible with other kits based on previous chemistries.

 

Ultra-Long Auxiliary Vials

This extension is recommended for users who:

-Wish to perform additional flow cell loading from existing ultralong library preparations.

-Ultra-Long Auxiliary Vials (EXP-ULA001) contain enough reagents for 12 additional reactions.

 

EEB Expansion

The EEB expansion contains additional reagents for use with the V14 Ultra Long DNA Sequencing Kit (SQK-ULK114).

 

Flow Cell Priming Kit

The Flow Cell Priming Kit contains additional flow cell priming reagents for six reactions using the V14 kits.

The kit can be used to prime MinION and GridION or PromethION flow cells for sequencing or to load additional libraries into a flow cell during a sequencing experiment.

Note: Only compatible with V14 chemistry.
